We are currently looking for Cooks who enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant & bar environment. We want to hire Seasonal Cooks and Part Time Cooks in our Pro Shop which is associated with our golf course.

Job duties include but are not limited to: preparing food in a timely manner, following instructions relating to the order, organizing workstations, assisting other cooks, and other duties as needed. This is a team environment, and Cooks generally
work closely with one or more other cooks, a wait staff and a bar staff.

The Cove Busser/Dishwasher | Part-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The mission of the Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association is to bring a superior level of service to the local community, ensuring that members and guests have a exceptional lake living experience that will not only encourage return visits, but generate excitement and, ultimately, increase pride in property ownership and property values. The Food & Beverage Team is the front line to deliver this experience, whether its through the Pro Shop, the Marina, or the Cove Dining.

Key Responsibilities
Dishwashing (Back-of-House)
· Clean and Sanitize: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans either manually in a three-compartment sink or by using an automated commercial dishwasher.
· Maintain Dish Station: Keep the dish pit clean, organized, and free of debris.
· Restock & Organize: Ensure servers and kitchen staff have a steady supply of clean, dry dishware and utensils.
· Trash & Waste: Empty kitchen trash bins, break down boxes, and take waste to the main dumpster.

Bussing (Front-of-House)
· Clear Tables: Promptly clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware from dining tables once guests leave.
· Reset Tables: Wipe down tables and chairs, sweep surrounding floors, and reset tables with fresh linens, napkins, and cutlery.
· Server Support: Assist waitstaff by refilling water glasses, delivering food, and running dirty dishes back to the kitchen.
· Stock Service Stations: Ensure dining room stations are well-stocked with napkins, condiments, and utensils.

Requirements & Qualifications
· Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
· Work Environment: Comfortable working in hot, loud, and wet conditions around industrial cleaning chemicals.
· Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:
· High school or GED

The Cove Dining Room Supervisor | Part-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The mission of the Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association is to bring a superior level of service to the local community, ensuring that members and guests have a exceptional lake living experience that will not only encourage return visits, but generate excitement and, ultimately, increase pride in property ownership and property values. The Food & Beverage Team is the front line to deliver this experience, whether its through the Pro Shop, the Marina, or the Cove Dining.

Staff Management & Leadership
· Recruit & Train: Hire and train front-of-house staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
· Scheduling: Create shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for peak hours and special events.
· Pre-Shift Meetings: Conduct daily briefings to relay specials, menu changes, and VIP guest preferences.

Customer Experience & Operations
· Guest Relations: Greet guests, manage reservations and floor plans, and proactively resolve customer complaints.
· Service Flow: Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
· Quality Control: Inspect the dining room prior to service to ensure cleanliness, appropriate lighting, and properly stocked supplies.

Administration & Financials
· Inventory: Monitor and replenish dining room supplies, such as silverware, linens, glassware, and condiments.
· Reporting: Generate sales summaries, track labor costs, and monitor expense reports.
· Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to local health codes, sanitation guidelines, and facility regulations

Education:
· High school or GED

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Quality Control: Inspect plates for proper plating, garnishes, and temperature before they go to the dining room.
· Order Management: Organize tickets, prioritize dishes, and pace the meal so that every guest at a table receives their food at the same time.
· Liaison: Act as the primary communication hub between front-of-house (servers/hosts) and back-of-house (line cooks/chefs).
· Timing: Coordinate with cooks to ensure appetizers, entrees, and desserts are fired at the appropriate times.
· Sanitation: Ensure the expo station is clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations.
· Multitasking: Ability to manage dozens of complex tickets simultaneously without losing track of details.
· Clear Communication: Must be loud, assertive, and concise when calling out orders or relaying table modifications to the kitchen.
· Stress Management: Must remain calm, organized, and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Station Prep: Set up, stock, and organize your designated station with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service begins.
Food Preparation: Chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prepare sauces according to recipe guidelines.
Cooking: Cook orders efficiently using various methods like grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking.
Plating: Ensure dishes meet exact visual presentation standards, appropriate portion sizes, and temperature requirements before serving.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean workspace, follow proper food safety (HACCP) protocols, and sanitize equipment.
Inventory: Track food freshness, rotate ingredients (FIFO), and report low inventory to kitchen leadership

Qualifications:
· Occasionally reaches, lifts, stacks and maneuvers objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 55 lbs
· To follow all health & safety
· Bartending experience
· At least 3 months of previous supervisory or lead experience
· Ability to multi-task and utilize efficient time management a must
· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
· Ability to communicate with clear and concise points

Responsibilities & Duties
· Guest Service: Welcoming diners, presenting menus, and answering questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods.
· Order Taking: Accurately taking orders (using a notepad or tablet) and conveying them to the kitchen and bar, while noting any specific dietary restrictions or allergies.
· Order Delivery: Running food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and quality before it reaches the table.
· Table Maintenance: Checking in with guests throughout their meal, refilling drinks, clearing dirty dishes, and resetting tables for the next seating.
· Payment Processing: Generating bills, splitting checks, processing credit cards or cash, and handling transactions accurately through the restaurant's Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
· Side Work: Assisting with opening/closing duties such as rolling silverware, restocking condiment stations, and maintaining overall dining room cleanliness.

Key Skills & Qualifications
· Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, patient, and welcoming demeanor.
· Multitasking: The ability to balance multiple tables at once and manage time effectively during busy rushes.
· Physical Stamina: The capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy trays of food or dishware (often up to 25-50 lbs).

Key Responsibilities
· Food Preparation: Assist with chopping, dicing, saucing, and cooking base ingredients per standardized recipes.
· Kitchen Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage junior kitchen staff and line cooks. Run the kitchen line or act as head chef in the executive chef's absence.
· Inventory Management: Monitor raw ingredients, receive deliveries, and stock rotation utilizing the First In First Out (FIFO) method.
· Quality & Safety Control: Ensure all meals meet the restaurant's quality standards. Regularly inspect stations to maintain strict OSHA and local health department sanitation codes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: Typically requires 2–4 years of proven hands-on culinary or commercial cooking experience.
· Certifications: Many employers require or prefer a ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification.

The Food & Beverage Team is the front line to deliver this experience, whether its through the Pro Shop, the Marina, or the Cove Dining.
The Pro Shop Bartenders primary responsibility is to ensure that all team members execute the standards of service during their respective shifts as well as function as the primary bartender/front of house. The key to success in this role is to be customer focused, team oriented, and efficient in delivery of service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Understand and communicate menu content, any menu changes and promotional activities
· Built rapport with all customers to ensure that their needs are exceeded
· Be responsible for the food and beverage operations of the bar, while leading a team to create an unforgettable guest experience
· Have a passion for creating finely crafted cocktails and keeping up to date with the latest mixology trends
· Inspire and train the bar team using your solid understanding of beverage knowledge
· Work with Dining Room Supervisor to ensure proper inventory levels of all front of house/bar items
· Be able to think outside the box with new cocktails and ideas to enhance our Liquid Physics menu
· Driven to reach daily and monthly targets, while thinking of new ways to generate business
· Assist in all aspects of training and retraining when necessary
· Ensure team members consistently maintain standards and a high level of customer service
· Efficiently lead the team to maintain high standards of service while managing a fast pace bar environment
